About Us
Hello! I’m Angie, the founder of Beyond the Lecture, a tutoring service dedicated to helping students master math and science with clarity and confidence. With nearly 20 years of experience in private tutoring, I specialize in guiding high school and college students through the challenges of Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, equipping me with both the subject expertise and a deep understanding of how to support students’ academic success.
I offer personalized, one-on-one tutoring for:
High School: Algebra I & II, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics
College: General Chemistry, Biology
Beyond the Classroom: YouTube & Homeschooling Resources
As a homeschooling parent myself, I understand the challenges of teaching and learning math and science outside a traditional classroom. That’s why I created my Beyond the Lecture YouTube channel—to provide students and parents with valuable study tips, instructional videos, and strategies for tackling quizzes, exams, and coursework. My content is designed to make math and science more accessible, whether you're a traditional student or a homeschooling family. Content to include Art and some Language Arts as well!
